Our technical staff consists of Ph.D. level scientists with degrees in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, with decades of experience. Our executive team has industry experience in strategic planning, operations, finance, and small business consulting.
Founded in 2002 and incorporated in 2003 by four University of Central Florida alumni, NanoSpective is a homegrown technology company with deep roots in the Central Florida community. Our office resides within the vibrant hub of Central Florida Technology, nestled in Research Park in Orlando, FL. Strategically situated, we are in close proximity to the University of Central Florida campus and are a mere 30-minute drive from Orlando International Airport.
NanoSpective’s scientists utilize state state-of-the-art characterization equipment not only in our 8,800 square foot facility but also through nationwide collaborations with academic institutions, national labs, and industrial partners.

FEG-SEM ThermoFisher Apreo-S Low Vac, high versatility HR FEG-SEM (>1nm resolution) with a 60mm2 Bruker, high-count rate, light element EDS system.
FIB Anticipated Q3, 2025 - New ThermoFisher Helios 5 UX FIB/SEM equipped with same UHR Elstar electron column, concentric high-contrast STEM detector, and piezoelectric stage as our Verios. The Helios will also have a state-of-the-art Phoenix ion column, 3 CVD deposition gasses, precision lift-out micromanipulator, Bruker high-count rate, light element EDS, EBSD, and transmission Kikuchi electron diffraction (TKD) capabilities.
